If you have a need for micropayments of less than $1 equivalent, Tagcash has the answer. CREDITS are used as a universal global micropayments currency, pegged at 1 US cent per CREDIT. These credits can bought via different methods by users or merchants, and used within the Tagcash Super App, within mini programs that can be used or created, or even via REST API in your own websites and applications. Once purchased, these CREDITS cannot be transferred to other users, but can only be spent within the app or via services within other applications. Once you have accumulated enough CREDITS in your merchant wallet, these can be cashed out in different ways, with a fee charged by Tagcash of 20%. This is cheaper than credit card rates for transactions involving $1 or less
Micropayments can be used in any application where content is consumed, for example Elearning payments per lesson, news articles per read, video sessions per minute and much more. There may be mini programs Tagcash has created for your needs, or you can create your own mini programs uniquely suited for your business.
CLOSED LOOP CURRENCIES
A merchant account can also create its own currencies, with optional connection to Stellar, for closed loop rewards or private usage, and usage within mini programs built in Tagcash. Control over transfer to other merchants or other users can be set as needed.
individuals can buy and pay with micropayments called CREDITS, pegged at 1 US cent per credit. These credits can be purchased in different ways, but are not transferrable to other users. They can only be used to consume content within Tagcash, or with merchants that have an account with Tagcash.
Create any number of group accounts, and switch to them for different balances and functionality. Accept payments from individuals or other groups by group ID, QR code or even NFC cards and bands. Verify your group account for higher limits on incoming payments per month. Add unlimited roles, staff team members, and restrict access and payment approvals from them. Create role names for members which can be used for access control to mini programs.
To set up a group/merchant account, first create a personal account, then from the left navigation menu choose Groups and create a seperate Group account from there. You can switch between Group account and your personal account, both of which have their own separate wallet balances. The group account has its own ID at the top of the left menu which can be used to receive funds.
Groups/mechants can only charge in CREDITS via mini programs they use or create. The credits can be reused for advertising in Tagcash, spent in other mini apps for services or can be cashed out in different ways, less a fee of 20%.
Tagcash is authorised as an Electronic Money Issuer (EMI) in the Philippines, and builds digital wallets for itself and other companies.
